What I do

Coffee

In 2021 I started making coffee at home as a hobby. I had started drinking coffee regularly to power through college and figured if I was going to drink the stuff, I should be good at making it, if only to save money on the cost of a latte in Boulder. I've been making home espresso since then with a lot of success! These days I'm mostly using a moka pot instead of an espresso machine, since I'm moving around a lot, but I've been practicing latte art so I can make the fancy stuff when I have a machine again.

Tech

I write open source projects and services as a hobby, mostly focused on tools for creating, hosting, and sharing websites, as well as making my own. Here are some things I work on:

Cooking

I grew up enjoying cooking, but really started getting into it as a way to show hospitality to friends and visitors. It brings me joy to feed folks, so I focus on soups, stews, curries, roasts, and anything else that is warm that I can make in bulk. Aside from those, I make a lot of sweets. Some of my favorite things to make are chicken soup, potato vegetable curry, sugar cookies, and crema catalĂ .
